YOGA WITH AMY
Saturday, July 22nd, 9:00am-10:00am
Amy Rappa will lead us in a gentle, flow-based practice. Weather permitting, we will have class outside on the deck. All mats and equipment are provided, or bring your own mat if you like. $15 per person, open to the public. Register

 

BLIND WINE TASTING
Saturday, August 12th, 3:00pm-4:30pm
Test your tastebuds! We’ll sample five to six wines, you have to guess what variety they are. Served with light hors d’oeuvres. $35 per person includes tax and gratuity. Wines will also be available to purchase by the bottle. Register

 

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BBQ FUNDRAISER
Thursday, August 24th, 6:00pm-9:00pm
We are so glad to host the Allegany County chapter of Habitat for Humanity's largest fundraiser every year! Join us for food, drinks and live music while raising money for a great cause!

We'll have a casual barbecue while enjoying acoustic music from Surrender Dorothy lead singer Jim House. A blind wine raffle and 50/50 raffles will be held, along with our popular cupcake contest. Bring two dozen cupcakes of your favorite cupcake recipe and enter to win a prize! Amanda Mangan of Allegany Radio Corporation is one of the guest judges!

A weekend full of farm fresh fun! Join us for local food tastings, farm tours, and a locally sourced farm to table dinner on Saturday evening. The dinner we hosted in 2016 was simply magical, you don't want to miss this!

DEEP CREEK LAKE ART & WINE FESTIVAL
Saturday, September 9th, 12:00pm-6:00pm
The 13th annual Deep Creek Lake Art & Wine Festival, benefiting HART for Animals and Garrett Lakes Arts Festival (GLAF), features beautifully handcrafted works by local and regional artisans, more than 200 wines to taste from Maryland and national wineries, live entertainment, food, silent auction, wine store, wine pairing dinners, lodging packages and more. Leaves begin blushing with color around Labor Day, and keep going usually all the way through to November! The most popular time of year at SRL, be sure to book well in advance for best availability.

 

60th ANNUAL SPRINGS FOLK FESTIVAL
Friday, October 6th & Saturday, October 7th
Celebration of the arts, skills and labors of our forefathers. Watch the men and women baking bread and weaving, the men hewing logs and threshing grain and the children enjoying themselves on an old-time hayride. The lilting notes of blue grass groups, gospel music and children singing a capella fill the air. An exceptional array of quality handcrafted items like paintings, baskets, wood crafted furniture, quilts and dulcimers - Over 100 juried artisans demonstrating their craft from paintings, baskets, wood crafted furniture, quilts and dulcimers. 50TH ANNUAL AUTUMN GLORY FESTIVAL
Wednesday, October 11th to Sunday, October 15th
The hometown festival includes two large parades, concerts, band competitions, art exhibits, antique & craft shows and much more in the quaint town of Oakland, about an hour away from the Lodge. In 2007, MSN.com listed it tops among fall festivals in the world and in 2014, Travel & Leisure listed the Autumn Glory Festival and our own Oakland, MD as America's Best Town for Fall Colors.

 

WINE TASTING with PINEAPPLE
Saturday, November 4th, 3pm-4:30pm
Fran "Pineapple" Schmitz is our favorite wine expert! He will lead a tasting of his favorite wines of the moment, with bottle sales also available so you can stock up for holiday entertaining. Join us for this fun afternoon! $45 per person, including tax and gratuity, along with paired hors d'oeuvres. Register

CHRISTMAS IN THE VILLAGE

A magical, traditional Christmas at Spruce Forest Artisan Village in Grantsville, with additional events at Little Crossings, The Cornucopia Café, and Grant's Mercantile.

We always sell out for the last night of the year! We have plenty of champagne on hand for a celebratory toast as we watch the Good Riddance box burn in the fireplace.
