Our restaurant — Catalpa at Savage River Lodge — is open for room delivery and limited in-house reservations on the half hour. Room service orders are delivered directly to your front porch — instead of arriving in cardboard containers with plastic silverware, your meal will be served on china as if you were dining in the restaurant.

Reservations are essential. This menu is subject to change. Room service reservations are limited to 5:00-6:00pm, and 8:00-8:30pm, provided for a $10 fee. Non-overnight guests, please call 301-689-3200 for dining availability.

For a light way to start the day, by approximately 8:30am a basket will arrive to your front step with a house-made muffin and orange juice per person. If you prefer a fuller breakfast, additional items are available each day of the week. Your dog isn't forgotten either with a Bodhi Biscuit to get ready for running on the trails!  Individually packaged coffees and teas are provided in your room, with a coffeemaker, French press, and electric kettle to prepare.

Our sister restaurant in Grantsville, The Cornucopia Café, is a scenic 20 minute drive from SRL for elevated dinner service and brunch. Full bar of beer, wine, and specialty cocktails are available along with espresso drinks.

Call ahead for curbside pickup, or take your to-go order down to the picnic tables along the Casselman Riverwalk or just down the street to Casselman River Bridge State Park. You can also visit our shops at Little Crossings Pantry & Grant’s Mercantile next door.

In-room amenities

Each cabin and yurt is equipped with a mini-fridge, coffee maker or French press, and electric kettle along with coffee and a selection of teas. A community microwave station and ice maker is located at the main Lodge, accessible 24/7. Private grills or fires are not permitted.
